When my baby was one or two, I joined a mothers of preschoolers group with a friend of mine. It was at a church I didn’t attend.  I enjoyed the strategies for reigning in the chaos that you suggested early on.  
Turns out we have several kids about the same age, and we are both Catholic so your tips for First Communion or party prep or college bound kids has always been super topical and related to my own life.  
Next on my horizon, empty nesting and how much space do I want or need for the next adventure (still happily married).
